I know first impressions matter—I mean, I wouldn’t be in this business if I didn’t believe that. In today’s digital world, your first impression is visual, and that’s why a professional headshot is an essential tool when starting your career.

Recently, I had the opportunity to work with Ricardo Pulido, a junior at UC Santa Barbara majoring in Sociology with a concentration in Business Administration and Management. Ricardo is set to graduate in Summer 2026, and he’s got big career aspirations in agribusiness and supply chain management. Like so many young professionals, he knew that having a strong headshot was critical for his LinkedIn profile and professional portfolio. In a crowded job market, looking the part is more important than ever.

I offer a student pricing package for headshots because I know that students like Ricardo need an affordable, entry-level price. Ricardo said in his Google review, “Juan’s $150 package is an incredible value—a small investment compared to the potential impact on your future career.” That review meant a lot to me because my goal isn’t just to take a picture—it’s to help you step confidently into the professional world.

During our session, I walked Ricardo through the process with clear direction and genuine kindness. It wasn’t just about snapping a photo; it was about capturing his true professionalism and personality in a way that resonates with recruiters and potential employers.

Given the positive feedback from Ricardo and a few others I’ve helped, I’m excited to announce that this student headshot service is now available to more students in Salinas and Monterey County. If you’re an enrolled student looking to make a strong impression, this is for you.

To be eligible for this service, you must provide proof that you’re a current student along with your student ID. This can be done with one of the following:

  • An Enrollment Letter or Certificate issued by your school’s registrar, which includes your full name and current semester.

  • Your Current Class Schedule showing your full name, school name, and either the current semester or classes beginning in the next 30 days.

  • A Transcript or Student Record (official or unofficial) that shows your full name, school name, and current semester.

  • For international students, either Form I-20 or an F-1 Student Visa, or a Verification of Enrollment (VOE) Form from your institution.

Your headshot isn’t just a picture—it’s an opportunity for our future workforce to be seen. Let’s make it count.
