Your images are professionally edited to look their best, and a personalized gallery makes it easy to access and select your favorites.
Why is there an additional cost for each image?
Each image requires individual retouching, cropping, and tailoring, ensuring a professional and high-quality result. This detailed process takes time and contributes to the additional cost per image.
How will I receive my headshots and portraits?
Your headshots and portraits will be ready in 2-5 working days after you finalize your selections and payment. They will come via email for download. If you need them faster, please let us know, and we can expedite the process.
Do you do on-location shoots for groups?
Yes, we specialize in on-location headshot sessions for corporate teams. We bring all necessary equipment, including lighting and backdrops, to your preferred location. Contact us to arrange a session tailored to your team’s needs and schedule.
How should I prepare for my headshot or portrait session?
To look your best for the photo session, ensure you get plenty of rest the night before to keep your skin and eyes looking fresh. Stick to your usual skincare and hair routines to avoid any last-minute issues. Can I upload my image to an AI tool to make different versions or different poses?
When you book a session, you’re purchasing a license to use the final images as delivered. Juan Avila Photography retains the copyright to all photos, and that license does not include uploading images to AI tools or image generators to create altered versions, new poses, or synthetic variations. AI platforms copy and store images in ways that go beyond standard photo editing, which removes control over how the image is used. If you’d like different looks or poses, the best option is to plan for them during your session or request additional edits directly.

Why does each branding package cost the way it does?
Each package reflects the time, setup, and post-production involved. In-studio sessions in Salinas are more controlled, while on-location indoor shoots around Monterey County include travel and additional setup. Outdoor sessions allow more flexibility, which is why image counts vary slightly.
What’s the difference between in-studio, outdoor, and on-location branding sessions?
In-studio branding sessions take place at our Salinas studio. Outdoor branding sessions are photographed outside at a planned location nearby. On-location indoor sessions are photographed at your workplace or office, anywhere in Salinas or the surrounding Monterey County area.
Can I include team members in a branding session?
Branding packages are priced for one person. If you’d like to include multiple people during an outdoor or on-location indoor session in Monterey County, that can be discussed and quoted separately so we can plan properly.
What should I wear for a branding photography session?
Choose clothing that fits how you present your business day to day. If you’re unsure, we’ll talk through options during your consultation before your session in Salinas or on location.
How long does a branding session usually take?
Branding sessions vary in length. Typically, you can expect about 60 to 90 minutes for in-studio shoots and a bit longer for on-location sessions. We’ll give you a timeline when we plan your shoot.
Where can I use my branding photos?
