Photographing Christmas Events In Salinas

Updated: 5 days ago

Giving back to help make the community a little brighter for the holidays.

I love photographing Christmas events in Salinas that help support people in our community. My parents always taught me that you get what you give back.

That's why this is one of my favourite times of the year. I get to bring my skills to help out some great causes that are helping make the holidays a little brighter for members of our community.

I'll be helping out at the 11th Annual Holiday Toy Drive by the César Chávez Fútbol Academy at the Alisal Family Resource Center. I'll then be over at the Christmas in Closter Park event.

Toy Drive

At Closet Park, the event features tree decorating, live performances, arts and crafts, and giveaways. The most magical part of the event has to be the REAL snow! It's great for kids and anyone young at heart!

It's not just Photographing Christmas Events in Salinas. Don't forget Video!

To be honest, I feel like there were so many great moments last year—which made for some great shots. To top it all off, my colleague and friend Luis from LC1 captured great footage and made a video. So magical!

The main event has to be the awesome decorating of Christmas trees that are raffled off on the final day, with funds going to support a great cause.
